If you wish to take a name from an existing team, you will want to reach out to the captain of that team to see if they would be willing to give it to you. To facilitate the name change, please contact a moderator, as well as have that team's captain reach out to the same moderator to confirm that consent was given to give over the team name.
In the case that a team is inactive, or you are unable to reach the team's current captain, these conditions must be met in order for a moderator to release a team's name without the current captain's consent:
- The team must be inactive for 6 or more months.
- The team must not have data from the current season.
